Goodness me folks, the end is nigh and there’s only a month left til christmas but you can relax in the knowledge that The Deccas will be there for you!
We’ve already started booking in gigs for the new year but the rest of 2009 looks like this:
Monday 23rd November The Forum Tunbridge Wells supporting Towers of London
Back from the brink of musical destruction the Tourettes brothers have re-jigged their line up and paying their dues again on a ‘Back to Basics’ tour.
Tickets are available via the link http://www.facebook.com/l.php?u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.wegottickets.com%2Fevent%2F61379&h=0b0ed3359b2cc64c6c76c7a2f848e39c
Friday 4th December Nag’s Head Rochester with The Effectives
Promoting their new four track E.P. recorded alongside Parisian band Smash, The Effectives headline this early advent knees-up at our local boozer. Bob "from The Dentists" Collins will kick the night off with a solo set and your humble narrators sandwiched inbetween.
Free entry, easy to find with great beers and staff, what more do you want to start the festive season?
Saturday 19th December Beacon Court Tavern Gillingham supporting Who’s Who
Nuff said? We think so but just in case you’ve never come across them before, Who’s Who are the greatest tribute to one of Britain’s greatest rock bands; The Who(see what they did there..). We’ve had the pleasure of warming the Beacon up for them in the past and we anticipate another blinding night this time round too. Entry is six quid.
Just a reminder here; if you haven’t already got your hands on a copy of our album "Ways To The Sun" you can get it direct from us at these gigs or email us your details and we’ll arrange a paypal payment. Alternatively you can pop into Recollect Records, North St, Strood or Magic Discs, Station Rd, Rainham or the New Arts Centre’s Nucleus Store, Dockside Outlet, Chatham and pick one up. They make idea stocking fillers, hint hint…
We do hope we’ll see you soon; we’ll be in touch again before the year is out with news of what lies in store for 2010.

"Angela Easterling is a bright shining star on the country/folk/alt.music horizon! Her gift is so special. I loved listening to her new "Black Top Road" CD! Brought me back to the time the Byrds recorded "Sweetheart of the Rodeo" – tradition meets youthful exuberance!"  Roger McGuinn (founder of The Byrds)

"Angela Easterling is a quietly plaintive singer who rewards attentive listening. Her Blacktop Road is out-and-out "alt. country," A lot of the songs here sound like they’ve been around for years—that’s a compliment—including the sweetly yearning cover of "Helpless." "  Editor’s Picks, Oxford American

"Dynamite honky-tonk singer Angela Easterling brings a tough traditionalist sound to ballads and ravers alike on her fine new CD Black Top Road."  Philadelphia Inquirer
