Sunday 16th May, Supercar Sunday, Top Gear Track, Dunsfold Aerodrome, Cranleigh, Surrey GU6 8TB
Car fan and Deccas drummer Tony wangled us a place on this years bill at this large car event.
Last year over 4,000 people attended with 700 rides from 100 or so supercars.
This year they have been given the go ahead to drive for longer which means more rides and more action all day long.
Live bands including a secret special guest(The Deccas??) helicopter rides (subject to Dunsfold approval) kids rides (including Roary the racing car) car club displays, fun fair, bouncy castles, two massive marquees to shelter from the sun, great food, loads of stands and stalls to keep you occupied, fire engine demonstrations, double decker bus rides.
£20 standard supercar rides (2 high speed passenger laps)
Entrance will be £7 per car with monies being raised for The Children’s Trust.

Friday 21st May, Garage and Retro Night, Command House, Dock Road, Chatham
We team up with our old buddies Mr Bridger for a raucous night of garage, power pop and mod revival sounds in the basement bar.
Entry is only £3 so kick your weekend off in true Medway fashion!!

Friday 28th May, International Pop Overthrow, The Cavern Pub, Matthew Street, Liverpool
Following our successful appearances at last year’s event we’ve managed to land ourselves a couple of slots on this year’s too.
The first of which will be at 4pm in the Cavern Pub (opp Cavern Club)
If you’ve never heard of this event before, please check out

Saturday 29th May, International Pop Overthrow, The Cavern Club (front stage), Matthew Street, Liverpool
Our second performance of the weekend, this time at 1pm in the depths of the legendary Cavern Club, on their arch roofed front stage reminiscent of the original stage from the 60′s Merseybeat heyday.
We’ll be heading up a three pronged attack from the Medway delta as, according to the schedule, Theatre Royal and Len Price 3 follow us. Hurrah!!
Entry is free to all venues!!

And then we have a breather! Nothing planned for June so far but we’ll be in touch later in the month.
Keep in touch with us via facebook etc and we hope to see you soon.
If you’ve not got a copy of our album yet, go to our website and click on the banner at the top of the page and follow the links to the paypal page.

Take care folks!!!

Deuce Management & Promotion is pleased to announce that Deuce artist, Louise le Gry has been nominated for the Best Female Vocal Award at The Hollywood Music In Media Awards (HMMA) which will be taking place at The Highlands in the world famous Kodak Theater complex in Hollywood , CA ; home of The Oscars, on 18 November 2010.

Louise Le GryDeuce has helped Louise le Gry with two radio campaigns since 2008 which has resulted in extremely positive feedback from presenters and listeners and has now seen her regularly being featured on the Deuce Radio Show . Her debut album Shadows still continues to surprise and delight people through her heart felt honesty and emotive sound and with this nomination, more listeners are expected to be drawn to her music following the initial 8,000 downloads of the album within the first 6 weeks of release.

HMMA recognises music based on creative merit rather than artist popularity, airplay, sales or label affiliation. Using this approach, it offers talented artists from anywhere in the world exposure and connectivity to the most influential professionals and organisations in the music industry and the ‘licensing machine’ of Hollywood The event will also be shot and post-edited for a televised broadcast in 17 countries including the UK and US territories reaching an estimated 120 million households .

All bands/artists interested in participating in the 2010 HMMA can submit their music or music video for monthly reviews and nominations. Nominees will then be selected and posted after each monthly session.

Now before you gorge yourselves on chocolate eggs we’d like to update you on what we’ve got coming up for the month of April.
We’ve had a cracking start to the year and this month is just as good with four gigs lined up as follows:

Friday 9th April – King Edward VII, Dane Valley Road, Margate CT9 3RD
Our first visit to Dave’s hometown and we’re sandwiched between local rock outfits A Thousand Lights and Tin Soldiers. The King Edward is fast establishing itself as a great rock music venue and welcomes punters from an “alternative” background. Entrance is free too!!

Saturday 10th April – Hufflers Arms, Hythe Street, Dartford DA1 1BN
From one end of Kent to the other! The Hufflers plays host to a new punk/new wave live music night called The Who Club, and we’re very happy to be playing the opening night. A great spit n sawdust venue, The Vas Deferens kick things off and we’ll keep the floorboards flexing. Free entry to this one and five minutes from the station!

Wednesday 21st April – Death Disco, Notting Hill Arts Club, 12 Notting Hill Gate, London W11 3JQ
We must have impressed Alan McGee last time we played to him cos he’s invited us to play his long running Death Disco night!
Since retiring from the music industry and selling Creation Records he has decided to give something back to the music industry and create a forum venue to showcase the up & coming, unsigned and unadulterated live bands. Happy hour til 9.30!
Also appearing are Left Hand Red and DJ Danny Watson. Entrance once again is FREE!!

Saturday 24th April – supporting Purple Hearts at Loco Lounge, The View, West Terrace, Folkestone CT20 1TH
Loco Lounge is a long established music night specialising in 60′s beat and garage bands, northern soul and 50′s surf sounds, often accompanied by some fine burlesque acts. This time they have secured one of the greatest Mod revival era acts and we’ll be warming the crowd up. Tickets are £7.50 or £10 otd. As the venue only holds 150 people we’d strongly advise getting advance tickets by emailing

Also for this month we should be featured in NME’s “A&R W*nker” section so have a rummage in your local newsagents on a wednesday morning and see if we make national music media!

May is very busy too with two trips to the North but we’ll tell you more nearer the time.
You can keep up to date by joining our facebook group “The Deccas Groupies”(!/group.php?v=wall&gid=4686845681). Please invite your friends to join too!!
If you’ve not got a copy of our album “Ways To The Sun” yet it couldn’t be easier; just click the banner at the top of our web page and this’ll take you to our paypal section. Or grab a copy from us at a gig! Only a fiver, go on treat yerself!!

It’s been a while since I’ve checked in with you all. In part that’s due to the new season of LOST starting up. But primarily it’s because I’ve been focusing my musical energies on a brand new project. Katie Clarke, Stephanie Marshall, and I recently joined forces to form The Boxcar Lilies – a high-energy Americana trio with a passion for great songwriting and three part harmonies.

We’re headed into the studio this May with the gifted producer and engineer Dave Chalfant (Erin McKeown, Beth Amsel, The Nields, The Winterpills) to record our first CD together. We’ve got the songs written, arranged, and ready to go, but we need to raise additional money to record them all, and so I’m inviting you to participate in The Boxcar Lilies CD Presale.

Pre-order the CD and you’ll be among the first to receive it when it’s complete. There are a variety of packages to choose from, ranging from a single signed CD to a Boxcar Lilies gift pack, or free tickets to a show. There’s even a package that includes The Lilies taking your song request. Is it your heart’s desire to hear the Lilies cover Lady Gaga? Well there’s a package for you. (If it’s your heart’s desire to see the Lilies dressed like Lady Gaga, however, that will cost considerably more. But hey, make us an offer.)

To show our gratitude for all of you that help us to continue to make music, we’ll send you an early mp3 or two and keep you updated on our progress and all shipping is free.

You can also get updates by joining The Boxcar Lilies mailing list.

I haven’t retired from my solo music career, but in the near future I’ll be focusing more on The Boxcar Lilies. We have some shows coming up and are getting ready to add more for the summer. So please join The Lilies’ mailing list to keep up to date.

Okay stop reading this and get outside. It’s gorgeous and the sun is shining!
