Palmetto Acoustic Series
August 14th was another great evening with this series from Muddy Waters Coffee Bar in West Ashley, SC.

Hannah originally hails from Alabama, but now resides in Columbia, South Carolina. Her excellent album Into the Black is available for download.

Nick Pagliari was born and raised in Memphis Tennessee, but after a few years in Nashville, he’s also ended up living in Columbia too. Must be something to do with the Carolina air! You can get Nick’s album The Sail here.
Anyway, we were privileged to have them play at Muddy Waters, and get to hear them. Nick also gave an interview to NAB Radio, and we’ll be broadcasting that later this year, as part of our new ‘Palmetto Acoustic’ Series of shows that are currently in production.

Reed Waddle from Destin, Florida was playing, along with John Pringle from Charlottesville, VA.
Quite a number of Reed’s songs reminded me of Paul Simon in style, whereas John’s Style gave me flashes of Bob Dylan at times. All in all, it was a great evening – the first in a series of gigs at Muddy Waters Coffee Bar in West Ashley, Charleston, SC. We’ll certainly be making the trip again soon to see the next one in the series in two weeks time.
We’re hoping to be featuring some of the fine music from this series as it unfolds over the next two or three months.
